accent inns

Accent Inns is the fun-loving cousin to Hotel Zed, with five locations across British Columbia and a reputation for hilarious puns, unforgettable marketing, and their iconic rubber ducks. Working with Accent Inns has been a dream—bad jokes and creative freedom? Yes, please. Over the years, I've collaborated on everything from witty advertising campaigns and illustrations to signage, merchandise, murals, vehicle wraps, and even the design of a life-sized rubber duck-shaped hedge. Every project is an opportunity to surprise guests, spark a smile, and prove that hospitality branding doesn't have to take itself too seriously.

pride 2026

For Accent Inns’ 2026 Pride celebrations, I created a playful collection of custom illustrations and campaign materials centred around their beloved rubber duck. The project included a series of colourful Pride duck stickers, parade graphics, signage, merchandise, and digital content designed to celebrate love, individuality, and belonging. Every piece combined an inclusive message with Accent Inns’ signature humour and approachable personality, creating a campaign that felt joyful, welcoming, and unmistakably on-brand.

I have been working with Amy for many years, and that’s because she’s an actual dream for our tiny marketing department. She’s multitalented, an incredible designer and illustrator and copywriter. From creating a custom bike racing kit, designing a new signage standard, creating a branded children’s book and even some racy self-love themed stickers. There’s literally nothing Amy can’t do.

She’s communicative about her time and in the 8 years she has never missed a deadline. I consider her part of our team and recommend her to anyone!
