Working with the Nanaimo Jazz Festival has been an opportunity to blend my love of fine art with design. From posters and promo materials to web development, I've helped create visuals that capture the energy and creativity of the festival while celebrating its growing presence in the community. One of my favourite pieces was the 2026 festival poster, which I designed using a collage of my own original paintings. By layering my artwork into a vibrant composition, the poster became more than an advertisement. It reflected the improvisation, colour, and expressive spirit of jazz itself, creating a distinctive visual identity for the festival.
